Climate change is a defining challenge of our time – upending the lives of millions of people today. As climate change shifts how and where we live, migration as
adaptation may be one solution to a changing world.
To raise awareness for the 200 million individuals expected to be displaced by 2050 due to climate change, and the need for human-centered solutions, the Inside Out Project will visit Denver, Colorado during the 2023 Cities Summit of the Americas in April 2023. In community with the Climate Migration Council, Inside Out will photograph young leaders from the Americas coming together to bring new ideas on how to improve the communities where they live and work.
The Inside Out Climate Migration Action is part of the global effort to put people at the center of climate action and urge governments worldwide to develop equitable solutions to address climate-related human mobility. This Action will provide participants a platform to show their solidarity for global action at a local level.
